Our senior tax attorney, John Siegesmund, is regularly involved in tax aspects of purchase and sale transactions, including tax-free reorganizations, liquidations, tax allocation issues and state and local tax problems. Gil Rosenthal and Jeremy Wysocki also have advanced degrees in taxation. One of these lawyers is involved in almost every transaction, including assisting clients with pre-deal and post-closing tax planning.

Buyers often have their own due diligence team, although Krendl Krendl Sachnoff & Way, P.C. can provide and is often retained to provide that service as well. Our primary role is to structure the transaction, maximize the tax benefits, and ensure the closing occurs as scheduled and as planned.
