Cathy S. Krendl. Mrs. Krendl is a graduate of North Texas State University (A.B., summa cum laude, 1967) and Harvard University (J.D., cum laude, 1970). She was a professor at the University of Denver College of Law from 1973 to 1983, where she was director of the law school's Business Planning Program. Mrs. Krendl has been selected for and listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the past seventeen years, the most recent in Corporate Law, Corporate Compliance and Governance, and Mergers & Acquisitions. She was selected as Super Laywer in Colorado in business law in 2006-2009 and is a platinum key author with Thomson West. She is listed in Chambers USA for Corporate/M&A.

She is the author or editor of numerous articles and books and is the editor and author of Colorado Methods of Practice, an eight-volume work on Colorado law, as well as several other books. Mrs. Krendl has also edited Closely Held Corporations in Colorado (Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc., 1981). She has written "Noncompetition Covenants in Colorado: A Statutory Solution?," 52 Denver Law Journal 499, 1975; "Piercing the Corporate Veil: Focusing the Inquiry," 55 Denver Law Journal 1, 1978; "The Progeny of Santa Fe v. Mrs. Krendl has been involved in many professional association activities, including serving as President of the Denver Bar Association. Mrs. Krendl has a general business practice with emphasis in the areas of corporations, limited liability entities, securities law, corporate governance and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. She frequently consults with and acts as an expert witness for other attorneys.
